Microsoft is taking some important next steps towards the retirement of the legacy CSP platform

From 1st January 2024, Microsoft will commence the auto-migration of all remaining commercial CSP licenses to the new commerce experience (NCE). On your customers’ subscription anniversary date, Microsoft will automatically migrate these licenses to NCE on an annual commitment with the same billing frequency and seat count as previously. If you wish to remain on a monthly commitment, then you will need to migrate your licenses to NCE prior to your customers’ anniversary date. NCE terms and conditions apply. See handbook: Asset Detail (microsoft.com)

Microsoft has also announced they will launch CSP Public Sector (Education, Non-Profit/ Charity, US GCC) licenses in NCE starting 1st January 2024. To give you time to adjust to this change, the Microsoft-led migration of Public Sector licenses will begin from 1st July 2024.
